Frequently asked questions
Do we need to be developers?
No. Claude Code works from written instructions, so owners and operations, marketing and finance staff can use it. Developers will go further, but coding experience isn’t required.
How is Claude Code different from ChatGPT or Claude chat?
Chat tools answer questions in a window. Claude Code is agentic: it works on your files, writes and runs code, and completes multi-step tasks while you supervise. ChatGPT vs Claude for business covers the chat side.
Is it safe to run on our systems?
It can be, with the right setup. By default Claude Code asks before it edits files or runs commands, and the session covers permissions, reviewing changes and keeping it away from sensitive systems.
What do we need for the session?
A laptop for each person and a Claude account with Claude Code access. We recommend a plan on the discovery call and set it up on the day.
What does it cost?
Claude Code training runs as one of three live online sessions: Foundations (from NZ$597, about 2 hours), Connected (from NZ$1,697, about half a day) or Team Ready (from NZ$2,997, about a full day). What each session includes.
